Zoe and Billy’s wedding was the epitome of a laid-back, fun, and emotional twilight celebration. Friern Manor’s lush grounds, stunning gardens, and elegant interiors make it one of the top wedding venues in Essex, and on that warm summer day, it was looking better than ever.

A Fun Start to the Day
We kicked things off with bridal prep, which was full of laughter, music, and a few rap tunes to set the vibe, even I got involved with a few Biggie tunes! Zoe’s bridal party kept the energy high, while over at Billy’s side, the groomsmen were cracking open beers well around midday – as you do!
But one of the most touching moments came when Zoe’s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. His reaction was priceless, and these are the kind of moments I love capturing in my wedding videos – moments that get everyone smiling (or tearing up!) when they watch it back.
The Little Star of the Day
Zoe and Billy’s little boy was a total show-stealer. As the ring bearer, he made his way down the aisle with a grin that could light up the room, bringing some extra joy to an already perfect ceremony.
The family photo session took place in Friern Manor’s stunning gardens, with the backdrop of blooming flowers, tall trees, and immaculate lawns. These picturesque surroundings are what make Friern Manor one of the best wedding venues in Essex for photography and videography alike.
Twilight Magic and Evening Fun
One of the most unique aspects of Zoe and Billy’s wedding was the twilight schedule. It allowed for a relaxed, carefree vibe throughout the day, giving everyone time to soak in the celebration without feeling rushed. As the sun began to set, the magic of the twilight wedding took over, creating the perfect mood for their evening reception.
Guests were treated to some fun extras, including a candy floss ice cream machine, which was a hit with both kids and adults alike. The highlight of the evening? Zoe and Billy’s first dance, which set the tone for a night of partying, laughter, and plenty of dancing.
